Abri Cigogne is a self-supporting bike station: it allows a collective, protected bicycle parking facility to be created without significant construction work. The structure is delivered fully assembled and positioned using a crane truck, so installation is quick and the module can be relocated at a later stage.

This makes it a solution well suited to testing the location and capacity of a secure parking service on site before making it permanent. Each module holds 20 spaces on two-tier racks and can be combined with other modules to reach 40, 60, 100 spaces and beyond: the service can grow over time, adding or removing modules according to actual demand.

The cladding is customisable — perforated sheet with round or square patterns, regular or random, timber or metal bars — with a choice of RAL colours, to blend into the installation context.

Where a mains electrical connection is not available, the module can be configured with solar power for the electrical components (access control, interior lighting, access counting): a configuration already adopted in reference installations at transport hubs and urban areas.
